Where are the colleges located on campus?

The UNSW Kensington campus map coordinates for UNSW Colleges and other affiliated colleges are: Basser College: D17 Colombo House: B16 Creston College: A25 Fig Tree Hall: B18 Goldstein College: B17 International House: C6 New College: L6 New College Postgrad Village: H3 Philip Baxter College: D18

Where are the apartments located?

The apartments are located on and off campus. You can view a map of the Kensington campus and apartments here. The map also highlights UNSW owned and operated colleges.

What are the reception hours?

The Student Accommodation office is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm .

I’d like to have mail delivered, what address do I use?

If you’re having a parcel delivered , we recommend having it sent via registered post . You should also consider taking out extra insurance for any valuable items you’re expecting. UNSW Student Accommodation is not responsible for any missing or stolen items. Please make sure any mail is clearly

What about sending mail?

The UNSW Post Office is located behind the library ( map reference F22).

What’s the size of my bedroom?

The average size of each bedroom is 10-12 square metres . The University Terraces has an average room size of 20 square metres .

What’s in the rooms?

Colleges Basser, Goldstein, Philip Baxter , Fig Tree Hall , and Colombo House have a king single bed and mattress, mattress protector, wardrobe with hanging space and area for folded clothes, desk and chair, set of drawers, ceiling fan, rubbish bin, and a pin board. UNSW Hall has king single beds

Is there a cleaning service provided?

Basser, Goldstein, Philip Baxter, Fig Tree Hall, and UNSW Hall rooms are cleaned fortnightly. Only the common areas of Colombo House and the apartments are cleaned regularly.

Are cleaning products and toilet paper provided?

No , it’s your responsibility to supply toilet paper and any cleaning products required to keep your room/apartment clean . Even though some rooms include a cleaning service, it’s always a good idea to have these items on hand. You never know when someone might spill something! These products can

Is linen provided?

No , only a mattress and mattress protector are provided . You’ll need to bring your own linen, doona/quilt/blanket and pillow/s. These products can be purchased and delivered to your room. Simply go to Suite Design to make an order.

Are there laundry facilities?

Yes , all colleges and apartments have shared laundry facilities in each building. The laundry facilities include washing machines and dryers. There are also shared irons and ironing boards in the laundry rooms.

Do I have access to the internet?

Wi-Fi is available in all colleges and apartments. You’ve got access to the UniWide fair usage system. There’s no volume based charging for the internet, but you’re bound by the acceptable use of IT resources policy . Please click here for instructions on configuring your device and accessing the

My internet isn’t working, what should I do?

Your internet is provided by UNSW IT Services . If you have a problem you should log it with their service desk . Please call them on +61 2 9385 1333.

What meals are included in the catered colleges?

Basser, Goldstein, Philip Baxter and Fig Tree Hall have breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the fees. UNSW Hall has breakfast and dinner included in the fees. For more information on meals, please click here.

I have special dietary needs, what should I do?

If you’re living in a catered college (Basser, Goldstein, Philip Baxter, Fig Tree Hall or UNSW Hall) and you didn’t indicate any dietary preferences when you made your application, you can fill out a dietary request form and email it to the Student Accommodation office . You can download a dietary
