Unfortunately, no . If you’re coming from overseas or interstate you’ll need to arrange alternative accommodation for your child until the check-in date .

Can my child check-in after the agreement date?
Yes . Your child can move in after the official contract date, but you’re required to pay from the date on your agreement . You’ll also need to contact the Student Accommodation office to advise when you’ll be checking-in. Check-in hours are 8:00AM to 6:00PM Monday to Friday only.
What will my child need to bring to check-in?
Please make sure they bring Photo ID , eg. a passport/Australian drivers license
Can someone else check-in on their behalf?
No , for security reasons only the Licence Agreement holder can check-in to their chosen Accommodation.
I want to deliver mail/parcel to my child, what’s the postal address?
If you’d like to send something to your child, we recommend having it sent via registered post . You should also consider taking out extra insurance for any valuable items you’re expecting. UNSW Student Accommodation is not responsible for any missing or stolen items. Please make sure any mail is
What about insurance?
Any contents are not covered for theft or damage and we strongly recommend your child takes out insurance to cover valuable items, eg. computers, cameras or jewellery. We also recommend they obtain suitable health insurance .

When are invoices due? Where are they sent?
Invoices are sent out monthly via email and due to paid within 7 days . Your child can nominate the email address they’re sent to via the Resident Portal.

How is inappropriate/offensive behaviour dealt with?
