Aditi Taunk
Student
I’m a research student, currently in my third year at the School of Chemistry and I moved to Australia from Mumbai, India in mid-2013.
For the first few months of living here, I stayed with relatives and had to endure a pretty long commute to UNSW every day, so when I finally made the decision to live on campus at Mulwarree, I was able to save a lot of time and energy! I’ve met heaps of wonderful people from lots of different backgrounds from all around the world and my flatmates are some of the best people I’ve met.
I’ve grown as a person living here, it’s helped boost my self-confidence and sense of independence. This is the first time I’ve lived so far away from home, but at Mulwarree it always feels like I’m home.
